"IN CONVERSATION WITH... " 40 minute slots with on-air television presenters.
The Media Careers Information Day Glasgow will feature a series of In Conversation' sessions. This is a chance for visitors to talk with celebrities from across the media industry on a one-to-one basis, a rarity in the media.
If you are interested in speaking to one of these celebrities you must queue up alongside the stage area and wait to be seated by an event helper. There are limited places available for each session. Each session will last for around 40 minutes to allow for changeover.

In Conversation with....
David Robertson
....joined BBC Scotland in 2000 as a main presenter on Reporting
Scotland. He was amongst the original BBC News 24 launch team and
presented the Breakfast show for three years before joining Reporting
Scotland
.Fiona Henderson
...has been with the Reporting Scotland team since the late 1980s.
Eleanor Bradford
...joined BBC South West as a trainee. She moved to BBC Scotland
in 1998 as a broadcast journalist where she has presented news bulletins,
Frontline Scotland, a digital news programme, and worked as a reporter
on many of BBC Scotland's news programmes. She has been BBC Scotland's
health correspondent since 2001.
Alison Walker
....works as the Sports Presenter on Reporting Scotland. Alison
also presents other sports programmes - like Shinty and Curling
and claims that, one day, she'll get a proper job!
Fred MacAuley
...has been presenting MacAuley and Co (formerly The Fred MacAulay
Show) on BBC Radio Scotland since June 1997. Fred made his television
presenting debut in Scottish Television's The Funny Farm and quickly
became a major force on the UK comedy circuit making successful
TV appearances on Have I Got News For You, They Think It's All Over,
and Bring Me The Head of Light Entertainment.
Jamie McIvor is a news reporter for BBC Reporting Scotland,
BBC Radio Scotland and BBC News 24. Jamie's break into regular reporting
happened on September 11 2001 when he was on holiday in New York.
He has since worked on some of the biggest stories in Scotland and
had attachments as BBC Scotland's Westminster Reporter and Business
Correspondent.
Vic Galloway

...his journey into Radio was unforeseen, having previously been
a musician. He was prompted to make a tape for a new regional Radio
1 show and to his surprise, got the job! He then co-presented the
'Session in Scotland' each Thursday night before a childhood hero,
'John Peel'. The show lasted for five years from July 1999 and its
successor 'Vic Galloway on Radio 1' continues to this day. You may
also hear his voice on various BBC radio networks doing voice-overs,
documentaries and music specials.

...BBC Scotland Sports Reporter
Julyan Sinclair
...has fronted arts and entertainment shows for the past 5 years,
and in 2002 won a BAFTA for being Scotland's best television presenter.
He has directed cinema and television commercials, as well as directing
for the ITV network. At the moment Julyan co-hosts Scotsport SPL
for STV and presents XFM Scotland's weekday afternoon show on radio
Chris Harvey

... joined the North Tonight team in April 2000, bringing his sports
journalism experience to Grampian's output. He says: "Grampian provided
my big break into television. I'd reported on sports stories and
football games for the BBC in England, but moving up to Grampian
has allowed me to report and present on screen.
Henry Eagles
...is Executive Producer, Sport, at Scottish Television. After
10 years at STV he became an independent producer making television
and radio programmes for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
He was Head of News and Current Affairs at Grampian TV from 2000
to 2004 and moved to his current post in June 2004.
Sarah O' Flaherty (Sarah O)

...landed her first job as co-presenter of 'The Grip', an award
winning sports show, and then hosted 'The Pepsi Chart Show' and
for the past 3 years Sarah's been based in Scotland working for
Radio Clyde as their news, showbiz and sports reporter as well as
DJ-ing on Saturday nights with her own music show.
Graeme Gordon is Series Producer of Taggart. He began his
long media career when he went to film school. From there he managed
to break into the film and TV industry beginning as a unit manager
and location manager. Following this he became 1st Assistant Director
before progressing to Line Producer and now Series Producer.
Jim Delahunt
...has been presenting Scotsport Productions since 1998 and was
previously a Sports Presenter on Scotland Today. He is currently
presenting Scotsport SPL, Scotsport First, Champions League Live
and Champions League highlights on Scottish and Grampian.
